The Shadowverse World Circuit will be in Singapore!

The road to the Shadowverse World Grand Prix is heating up, as we announce that the next stop on the Shadowverse World Circuit will be in Singapore! The tournament will take place from August 11-12 and is open to players from all regions. The prize pool will be USD 10,000. The winner will secure one of four spots in the SEAO Contender’s Cup, which will be held at GameStart 2018 Singapore from October 13-14.

Free hostel accommodation will be available for competitors who are not residents of Singapore. Spaces are limited on a first-come-first-served basis, and players are required to provide a copy of their flight booking to secure a place.

All participants will receive the Shadowverse World Circuit: Singapore 2018 emblem and the player with the most points at the end of the Swiss phase will receive the Shadowverse World Circuit: Singapore 2018 MVP Flair.

Prize Pool Breakdown

1st place: USD 4000, Shadowverse World Circuit: Singapore 2018 Champion Flair and a spot at the *SEAO Contender’s Cup

2nd place: USD 1500 & Shadowverse World Circuit: Singapore 2018 Runner-Up Flair

3-4th place: USD 750  

5-8th place: USD 350

9-16th place: USD 200

*SEAO Contenders Cup slot is limited to players who legally reside in one of the SEAO countries (Australia, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines)

Tournament Format
  • Rotation format
  • Modified Swiss into Top 16 Single Elimination Playoffs
  • Day 1: Bo3 Conquest with bans
  • Day 2: Bo5 Conquest without bans

Tournament participants will be using a special in-game mode called “tournament mode”, in which all cards from Rotation are unlocked.

How to qualify for this year’s World Grand Prix – first prize A MILLION DOLLARS.

In order to determine who will fly out to Tokyo for this year’s World Grand Prix, 2018’s top Shadowverse players will be flown to LA or Singapore in October to take part in one of three Contenders Cups – one for the Americas, one for Europe, and one for South-East Asia and Oceania.

The following players will qualify for the Contenders Cups:

  • – The winners of each of the World Circuit tournaments
  • – The winners of the Spring and Summer Pan-American or European Shadowverse Open online tournaments
  • – The players with the most 2018 league points
  • Finally, there will be spots for the winners of dedicated wild card tournaments that will take place in September
