What is SVO Community Tournament Support?

Whether you’re competing among friends or battling to be the best in your server, community tournaments are the bedrock of the SVO community. Depending on the number of participants, SVO Community Tournament Support offers organizers the chance to reward players with exclusive in-game items as prizes. What kind of tournaments are eligible?

All tournaments are eligible for SVO Community Tournament Support provided that they meet the minimum requirements listed below:

• Tournaments must consist of matches played in the Shadowverse online collectible card game.
• Tournaments must not contain unauthorized reproduction or plagiarism of other people’s work.
• Tournaments must not be operated for advertising or promotional purposes.
• Tournaments must not contain misleading or false information.
• Tournaments must not contain hateful language or behavior toward in-game characters, organizations, or other members of the community.
• Tournaments must not violate the Shadowverse Terms of Service.

Meeting these criteria does not always guarantee eligibility for prizes. Any exploitation of the rules may lead to stricter guidelines or even the termination of the program. Terms and conditions apply.

What prizes can my tournament get?

The exact number and type of prizes depends on the amount of participants. In general, prizing consists of in-game emblems, card sleeves and vials. See below for the full breakdown:

The exact design of card sleeves and emblems are decided by the SVO Community Support team on a monthly basis. Organizers are not able to request specific designs in advance. Additionally, organizers are encouraged to apply to the SVO Community Support Program to be eligible to receive 5 card packs per tournament per major expansion.

How do I know if my tournament has been approved?

You will receive an email from [email protected] once we’ve confirmed your submission. Upon reviewing your information, we will send another email to confirm whether your tournament has been approved for prizing or not. Organizers are encouraged to apply two weeks before the tournament begins so that eligibility can be confirmed in advance.

When do participants get their rewards?

Prizes will be distributed after the tournament has ended and the SVO Community Support team has received the full list of participants.

SVO Community Tournament Support FAQ

I’m organizing a contest related to Shadowverse but not in-game. Am I eligible for prizing?

Prizing is currently only available for competitions and tourneys consisting of matches in the Shadowverse online collectible card game. Other types of community events such as art contests and writing workshops are not eligible. That being said, organizers are encouraged to apply to the SVO Community Support Program for additional rewards.
