Castelle Forest

Castelle (previously Evo Fairy) Forest existed last expansion, and with the introduction of Frostborn Princess as extra damage over the course of the game, Ageless Bystander and Pining for Home as sources of Wisps, and Sapling Steward as an un-board lock card along with cycle, the deck has gotten significantly stronger - it doesn't even need to run anything that costs more than 2!

Gameplan: You want to turbo through your deck while setting lethals involving evolved Fairies, Aria, Dutiful Fairy, and Verdant Prayer from Castelle, Budding Mage. Some key plays are to bounce Castelle, Sapling Steward, or even a Fairy Wisp with Salvia Panther and Windflower Tiger

Mulligan: You want to hit your early follower count generation, so Salvia Panther / Windflower Tiger, Aria, Ageless Bystander going Second, and Plumeria if you've hit another play on 2.

Loot Sword

Loot Sword might look very similar to last expansion, but Untold Kick and its Transmute to Legendary Kick is one of the most skill testing cards to exist in modern Shadowverse. Additionally, Dashing Duelist is a generically strong Sword card.

Gameplan: Loot's gameplan hasn't changed since last expansion - activate Rogers, Ruler of the Seas as soon as you can (usually), then assemble a large damage push with Dread Pirate's Flag from Barbaros, Briny Convict and Tidal Gunner.

Mulligan: The mulligan is roughly the same as last expansion - keep any of your 1 drops, Rogers, and potentially Penguin Punisher.

Earth Rite Runecraft

While Earth Rite received Undying Witch, Mind-Control Mage, and Celestial Command as some of their new cards this expansion, adding an additional form of play point "cheating" seems to have helped the deck shape up.

Gameplan: You want to reach 7 consumed Stacks, then activate Undying Witch's effect. After this, you have multiple options - one of the more common ones is to play Pascale, Radiant Oracle after Undying Witch is active, then to play Celestial Command transmuted into Celestial Convergence creating a large board that is very difficult to clear. You can also play for 6 damage with Levi, Wizard of Ages and 3 damage from the Veridic Rituals from Gruinne, Leonardian Provost. You have Celestial Command's Fusion effect as additional 0 play point sigil generation, and Crystal Scryer as an accelerant for any of your gameplans.

Mulligan: Keep your early Earth Sigil generation, Ultramarine Witch, Astrological Sorcerer, and Multielemental Neophyte.

Armed Dragon

Armed Dragon is a deck that's been around since Celestial Dragonblade, but the introduction of Gallant Dragonewt has made the deck one of the stronger decks out there.

Armed Dragon's gameplan hasn't changed since its inception - play aggressively while getting 4 Armed followers to leave play before your turn 5. Then, you want to evolve Lævateinn Dragon, usually into Blast Form to deal 7 damage at the end of your turn. Additionally, once you have 4 Armed followers leave play, a number of your Armed followers also start dealing damage.

Mulligan: You want to keep your early Armed curve, prioritize Armed follower count over Dragon Oracle.

Burial Rite Shadow

Burial Rite Shadowcraft has finally returned with the introduction of Lovelorn Necromancer as a win condition and Reviled Remnant as both a defensive invoke and a small amount of refill for the deck.

Gameplan: You try to keep yourself alive up until your turn 6 so you can evolve Myroel, Death Enforcer. Then, you push for lethal with 10 damage from Lovelorn Necromancer along with 3 damage from Septic Shrink and other sources of chip damage to finish your opponent off.

Mulligan: You want to keep your early Burial Rites like Ceridwen, Eternal Duality, Sweetsoul Necromancer, and Leeds, Pining Witch. Additionally, keeping Huginn & Muninn is not the worst, although it seems like it may be matchup dependent.

Wrath Blood

Deck Builder Link: Deck Link

We've seen Wrath Blood before, but it has returned as one of stronger decks this expansion. The addition of Diabolus Hedone and Silver Snipe both increase the lethality of Wrath Blood, sometimes even getting the evolve effect of Diabolus Hedone active in time to evolve her on turn 4 going second.

Gameplan: Draw through to your Garodeth, Insurgent Convict along with a way to activate him on either turn 6 or 7. This usually involves playing Enchanting Rhapsody on 5, and a variety of high damage combos open up with Diabolus Hedone and Silver Snipe on your Garodeth turns.

Mulligan: Keep your early card draw that self pings like Harmonic Wolf, Demon Maestro, and How To Train Your Bat. Additionally, keeping Demonic Drummer and Howling Scream is okay too.

Heal Haven

60500

Deck Builder Link: Deck Link

Heal Haven is looking like a solid pick this expansion - the introduction of Tanzanite Convictor adds additional out of hand damage for the deck, and the rest of the deck is relatively in tact from last expansion.

Gameplan: Going first, you want to play Aether, Guardian of Light summoning Elluvia, Graceful Lady and evolve her, then make threatening boards until you defeat your opponent. Going second, you aim to evolve Arriet, Luxvoice Learner on turn 4 going second, then evolve Elluvia summoned from Aether and threaten large boards.

Mulligan: You generally want to keep your card draw - Fount of Tranquility, Bambeauty's Examination Hall from Orchid's Examination Hall, and Kira, Resilient Maiden. Additionally, you want to keep Arriet going second.

Control Portal

65150
Source: ngabbs
Deck Builder Link: Deck Link

This might be the most nonstandard deck we have from day 1 - it's Control Portal, powered up by the introduction of Synthetic Eden.

Gameplan: The gameplan of the deck is to stall your opponent up until you can kill using some combination of cards, usually involving Pandora, Plague Giver.

Mulligan: Your mulligan is extremely dependent on what you're facing - if you're facing a board based deck, you want to keep your early puppet generators to keep them off of the board. If you're facing a slower control deck, you want to mull for your card draw to keep your card advantage. Also, it's almost always fine to keep Goddess of Compassion going second.
