What's Next for SVO?

July 8, 2024

During the RAGE Shadowverse 2024 Summer Grand Finals on June 16, it was revealed that Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond will be delayed from its original release date of spring 2024 to spring 2025. Additionally, it was announced that the Shadowverse World Championship will be rescheduled for the end of 2025. What does this mean for SVO?

In tandem with RAGE and other regional tournaments, there will be no further SVO events beyond the Masters Cup until the release of Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond. We plan to use this time to further develop our plans for the future of international Shadowverse tournaments. Rest assured that we’re not going anywhere!

We would also like to assure those players who received a slot for the 2025 Shadowverse World Championship and a Day 2 Bye for the Wild Card tournament at the SVO Masters Cup that these are still valid. More details regarding these tournaments will be released at a later date, but please don’t hesitate to contact our tournament administrators if you have any questions.

Since there will be no new in-game prizes beyond Heroes of Shadowverse, we have decided to suspend Community Tournament Support during the Throwback Rotation period. That being said, we do plan to continue operating the Community Support Program for the foreseeable future, so tournament organizers are welcome to apply for those rewards. Please see the Community Support Program page for more details.

Given the lack of upcoming events, activity from SVO on official social media channels will be greatly reduced, but any urgent requests can be forwarded to one of our admins on the official SVO Discord server. Alternatively, feel free to send us an email at communitysupport@svo.gg.

See you in Worlds Beyond!
