Featuring hilarious quizzes, gripping exhibition matches, and even a special video message from the producer of Shadowverse himself, our End of Year Celebration was a lot of fun. As part of the stream, we also recognized several important members of the community through the 2023 SVO Content Creator and Player’s Player Awards. The former was chosen by the SVO team based on submissions to the Community Support Program, while the latter was conducted via fan vote with over 200 responses!
Without further ado, check out the full list of winners below.
Creative Content Award: Nova Starlyght (X / YouTube)
Not only was their TTRPG series ‘Guns Over Rivayle’ easily the most inventive thing to come out of the Shadowverse fandom this year, Nova is also a tireless moderator of the Shadowverse wiki. Keep it up!
Tournament Organizer Award: MS Alphy (X / Battlefy)
If you’re in the r/Shadowverse Discord, chances are you’ve heard of Alphy. He organizes tournaments every month for new and returning players alike to test their skills and try out new cards! What a champ.
Rising Star Award: Hwale (X / YouTube)
Since starting out making Shadowverse videos last December, Hwale has gone from strength to strength. If you want engaging gameplay with informative content, Hwale’s your man! Keep your eye on this one…
Community Leader Award: Yoritomo (X / YouTube / Twitch)
In the Spanish-speaking Shadowverse community, no one is quite as consistent as Yoritomo. He’s been making daily Spanish-language Shadowverse content since 2018 with a focus on exploring the meta. ¡Felicidades!
Not only did DB Nautilasu take home the crown in this year’s West Contenders Cup, he also managed to steal the hearts of the SVO community as a whole. Congratulations!
We all know Zhiff, we all love him. He took home a prize in last year’s Content Creator Awards, and now he’s officially the SVO community’s favorite player in the SEAO region for 2023. Amazing!
